FSC:
The Forest Stewardship Council is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide. They enable businesses and consumers to make informed choices about the forest products they buy, and create positive change by engaging the power of market dynamics.

PEFC:
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification is an international non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) through independent third-party certification. PEFC works throughout the entire forest supply chain to promote good practice in the forest and to ensure that timber and non-timber forest products are produced with respect for the highest ecological, social and ethical standards. PEFC’s distinctive ‘green trees’ logo make it a truly global brand and means customers and consumers are able to identify products from sustainably managed forests.

TTF:
The Timber Trade Federation (TTF) is at the centre of the UK’s timber industry with an impressive reputation. All members of the TTF have had to satisfy strict criteria before joining and can help solve any timber related issue you may have. Only those applicants that meet the TTF’s high standards are approved for membership. Once a company is approved for membership they have to observe the obligations contained in the TTF Code of Conduct.

BSI:

BMF:
The Builders Merchants Federation is the only organisation that represents and protects the interests of Merchants and Suppliers to the merchanting industry.

BWF
The British Woodworking Federation is the trade association for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry in the UK. It has 700 members drawn from manufacturers, distributors and installers of timber doors, windows, conservatories, staircases, furniture, all forms of architectural joinery including shopfitting, timber frame buildings and engineered timber components, as well as suppliers to the industry. The woodworking sector as a whole is a £3.8 billion industry operating at the heart of UK manufacturing.

TRADA
TRADA (The Timber Research and Development Association) is an international membership organisation dedicated to inspiring and informing best practice design, specification and use of wood in the built environment and related fields.
